Frontmen utjecajnog punk benda Buzzcocksa, Pete Shelley, preminuo je u 63. godini života. Kao uzrok smrti britanski mediji navode srčani udar.

Buzzcocksi dolaze iz Boltona, gdje su osnovani u sedamdesetima kada je val punka, predvođen Sex Pistolsima i Clashom, zaludio mlade buntovne Britance.

Menadžment benda objavio je da je Shelley preminuo u četvrtak u Estoniji, gdje je živio. Glazbom se frontmen i autor uspješnica benda bavio više od pedeset godina, a potpisao je i najveći hit grupe, pjesmu Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve).

not been on here for a while, but I can't not mark the passing of Pete Shelley. I love(d) Buzzcocks. His songs were important to me when I was a young man and they still are to me now. Thank you Pete and R.I.P. You will be missed.
